Stuff for Mom.

So I mentioned a while back that I had been making a bunch of stuff for my Mom.  Well, I finally have the pictures to prove it!  Here are just some of the things I have made for her lately (and by lately I mean some time this year, ha, ha!).

A miniature faux terrarium.  I was inspired by this tutorial..

A dala horse softie I made using the bonus softie size pattern that comes in my Scandinavian Birds II pattern set.  I attached a piece of ribbon so that she could hang it some where.

A bunny I made using a pattern by Gingercake Patterns.

A pincushion, using a pattern from I Love Patchwork by Rashida Coleman-Hale.

A gnome, using a pattern by little dear (Aimee Ray).

And a cozy throw size quilt.  I did not use a pattern for this.  I simply sewed together a bunch of charm size squares (5" x 5"), put some sashing around the edges, and hand tied the whole deal.  I personalized the back ... my mom seems like she really loves it.

Does anyone else find it hard to get good pictures of quilts?

Hugs,

P.S. I am still having that photo sizing problem I mentioned yesterday.  Blogger will let me resize the first photo in a post, but not the subsequent ones.  Never had this happen before ... is this happening to you too?

  3. That is a great quilt - so easy but it looks great in one color. I'll have to remember that idea. And I love felt "stuff." I will have to find that gnome pattern. Too cute!
