Well, I went ahead and did it .... I closed my big cartel shop. I mentioned before that I was thinking about this, and after much debate decided that one shop is enough. The great thing about my big cartel shop was that I was able to hook it up with pulley, and customers were able to download their patterns immediately. However, with the monthly subscription fees to big cartel + pulley, and the number of products I had listed vs. the number of products I actually sold, I no longer felt it was worth it to keep my big cartel shop open in addition to my Etsy shop.
So, I just wanted to let you know in case you went to visit my instant downloads page, that it no longer exists. But my Etsy shop is still open and going strong ... over 500 sales over the past two years ... not too shabby! There are many places throughout my posts where my products are linked to the big cartel listings ... I will try and go through and change as many of the links as possible to my Etsy shop page ... but this will take a while, so I apologize for any hiccups along the way.
