Check her out, isn't she sweet?
The small size is big enough to hold a wallet, iphone, and lip gloss with room to spare!
I can include the strap too if you want, although I must admit that I do not love the strap I made as the example for this pattern, because I used white thread. Normally for something like this I would use a coordinating thread, but because I was aiming for contrast in the photos I used white. Don't get me wrong, I love the design of the strap (I'm not biased or anything), I'm just not in love with the white thread ... but if you want the strap to turn this sweet pouch into a wristlet, I will include that too! Just ignore the white thread, will you?
Lined up my seams pretty well too, if I do say so myself. I love pouches with flat bottoms because they can stand up on their own. And I feel like these pouches are unique because they have straight sides too.
As I mentioned earlier, I made her using the "small" size, and the flirty ruffle option. The exterior fabric is from the DS Quilts collection, as is the interior fabric and the fabric that covers the zipper ends. The ruffle was made using my favorite shade of red Kona cotton by Robert Kaufman.
Check out the clean zipper turn ... I show you how to do this in my pattern ... just sayin' ...
Would you like to win her?
